Sustainable Finance Week 2022

I was very fortunate to be involved with Guernsey’s Sustainable Finance Week 2022. As part of Guernsey Finance’s design team, I was responsible for producing some of the event imagery and social media adverts. I was also tasked with creating the header images for sponsored articles on the Financial Times website.

My main contribution, however, was the production of the event’s sting. An animated intro that played at the start of each session, twice a day for each of the 3 days.

Building the sting

Working on the sting was very exciting, after a thorough planning phase with the other members of the team, the production of the sting was my sole responsibility. I set about combining After Effects motion graphics with 3D animations that were shaded to match the 2D aesthetic.

Social Media and Event Imagery

The process of creating the social media and event imagery was very collaborative. The groundwork was already there and I was able to build on the existing framework to meet the needs of the marketing department.

By paying close attention to the colour scheme and shape language, I created carousel ads, sponsor announcements, and more. Here are some examples:
